Meaning of CI

The dove and bud, the previous symbols of Shinhan Financial Group, are reinterpreted to represent the hope for the future in the 21st century.

The “globe” is a symbol of globalization, while the S in the middle of the globe means the path of this financial company taking steps toward endless growth When it comes to the colors applied, the blue color was used to represent the sophistication, confidence, reliability and scale along with the gold color that symbolizes development and passion.

Both colors express Shinhan’s confident vision and stature as a global financial company making a challenge for the world.

For the logo, a familiar, elegant looking serif type is used in both Korean and English to distinguish its image from others. An effective and differential color system is applied to signs. bankbooks and cards to implement the Shinhan’s innovative will for the future and great leap into the globalization.
